logistics and operations facility in
Johannesburg, which acts as the hub of its
distribution operations.
Today this facility is home to its retail,
Africa services and satellite operations,
enabling it to go-to-market as a single
cohesive unit under the Comztek banner. All
the while enhancing operating efficiencies,
improving turnaround times and providing
exceptional product availability.
Value-added distribution

A business is only as good as its people, is
a philosophy that Comztek doesn’t only
internalise, but that it extends through
training services it offers to its partner
network as well. The company provides a
variety of reseller training sessions that
cover all aspects of sales, technical,
product-specific and basic technology.
Training is offered on a needs and
case-by-case basis and is delivered either
by experts from within Comztek, industry
leaders where necessary and where
appropriate an international vendor.
Supporting the business backbone

Deploying, implementing or engaging with
technology will, at some stage or another
require technical intervention. In order to
fill this gap Comztek offers its partners
access to Comztek Technical Service Support
(TSS), an automated 24-hour Service Centre
that is able to assist resellers and their
customers with access to backup stock and
full technical assistance, dependant on the
needs or SLA agreement of each Comztek
customer.
Through the TSS, resellers are able to log
service calls, activate SLAs and tap into
technical expertise telephonically, or
request backup stock that will be delivered
within 24hours if you are based in a major
centre. The test laboratory also offers the
perfect backdrop for pilot systems, prebuilt
systems, and the architecting of business
critical environments before they are
installed in a live environment.

SLA
In business we all need guarantees and what
better way to ensure these than through the
adoption of an SLA or Service Level
Agreement. Comztek provides its partners
with a range of SLA options that will meet
their exact business and customer
requirements. Each SLA is carefully tailored
to meet the business and technical
requirements and competencies of a client –
ensuring that mission-critical business
systems never fail when you need them most.
SSA
Because the company believes in going the
extra mile for its customers, it doesn’t
expect that its resellers will always have
the skills on board, to be able to meet
challenging technical issues. It is with
this that reseller partners can tap into the
Comztek Skills Service Agreement or SSA,
which when needed, can act as an advisory or
even onsite extension of their own team.
Enabling them to tap into technical and even
project management skills as and when they
need it.
Support line
If a reseller has an SLA with Comztek they
are able to take advantage of a 24-hour
support line through a toll-free number.
Here no question is too small or problem too
big and a team of skilled personnel man the
phones day and night to establish if a
problem can be handled telephonically, or if
a technical expert needs to be dispatched to
assist.
