For the first time Avaya recently brought its channel community together with Nortel partners in Dubai for the company’s annual Partner Conference.
The conference took place on 2 and 3 February 2010 at the Madinat Jumeirah. With more than 300 channel partners from across the Middle East and Africa region attending the two-day conference.
Avaya Connect is a major overhaul of Avaya’s existing channel programmes into a globally consistent framework that streamlines processes, pricing, training and certification requirements while enabling channel partners to serve their customers better.
Avaya Connect will let channel partners grow their businesses by expanding financial benefits, enhancing technical, marketing and sales support and providing a highly effective, simplified training and certification programme.
The global framework also recognises the needs of different types of partners – from system integrators and services providers to small and mid-size business resellers – and addresses them appropriately.
