Symantec Backup Exec was awarded the MSExchange.org Readers’ Choice Award in the Exchange Backup & Recovery category – based entirely on visitors’ votes.

MSExchange.org provides Exchange news and information to more than 350,000 IT administrators each month.  Symantec Backup Exec was the clear winner with 48% of the votes, beating the closest competition by 37 percent and CommVault by 40 percent. BrightStor ARCserve Backup and SonaSafe for Exchange Servers were first runner-up and second runner-up.

Regular polls are conducted by the site to discover which product is preferred by Exchange administrators, in a particular category of third party solutions for Microsoft Exchange Server. The awards draw a huge response per category and are based entirely on the visitors’ votes. MSExchange.org users can submit their votes for the current Readers' Award poll in the site’s left-hand bar.
