Comztek helps keep Department of Education safe

Leading technology distributor, Comztek, is assisting the Department of Education in its efforts to keep a secure technology environment with a substantial donation of data protection software. Over the next three years, Comztek will supply the department with 250 000 Symantec licenses to be distributed to schools and provincial department offices.

The donation to the department includes a range of licenses for Symantec's Endpoint Protection. This software combines Symantec AntiVirus with advanced threat prevention to deliver defense against malicious attacks for laptops, desktops and servers. Symantec Endpoint Protection will help the Department of Education deal more effectively with virus, phishing and other sophisticated and unknown computer related threats.
