D-Link SA, the networking solutions provider for both consumers and businesses, has opened a satellite office in Cape Town.

"By opening this new office, we will be able to provide our clients - both channel partners and end-users - with better pre- and post-sales service as well as more face time with our customers in this region," says Wynand Moller, D-Link’s regional account manager for the Western Cape.

Tobie van Schalkwyk, D-Link’s country manager, says that the company had realised the need for an operation in the region for some time. "We will be able to deliver technical support and whatever else is required, working through our three distributors - Comztek, Mustek and Pinnacle," he says.
Van Schalkwyk says that there are plans to develop offices in all the major centres in SA, with Durban next on the cards.
