Main Purpose of the job
Responsible for efficient and effective resolution of call centre calls. Assumes responsibility for sorting, distributing and responding to all incoming e-mails to sales@comztek.com as well as personal mailbox. Assumes responsibility for assisting with sales and marketing campaigns.
Main Job Functions and responsibilities
Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective resolution of incoming sales calls.
- Answering incoming calls within agreed timeframe.
- Assisting customer with basic calls regarding stock queries, debtors accounts queries, backorder and ETA queries.
- Asking the right questions in order to understand the call request so that the call is transferred correctly the first time.
- All basic calls are to be completed within agreed timeframe.
Assumes responsibility for sorting, distributing and responding to all incoming e-mails received in sales@comztek.com as well as personal mailbox.
- Reply to all incoming e-mail requests for quotes on sales@comztek.com as assigned.
- Sorts and distributes all other e-mails and faxes received on sales@comztek.com as assigned.
- Respond to all e-mails requests and queries received in own personal mailbox.
- Forward all quotes processed to the relevant account manager.
Assumes responsibility for assisting in sales and marketing campaigns.
- Assists with sales and marketing campaigns as requested by contacting database customers regarding specials.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective communication and coordination with management, personnel, customers and vendors.
- Functions as full support to area personnel as required.
- Keeps management informed of activities, progress toward established objectives and of any significant problems.
- Attends and participates in meetings as required.
- Maintains regular contact with other departments to obtain information and/or correct problems.
- Maintains the Company’s professional reputation.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
- Attends product and call centre training as requested.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all Company products.
- Stays informed of changes in policies and procedures related to job function.
- Ensures that work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
- Any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorized person.Education/Certification
Required Knowledge
- Understanding of product positioning and competitive conditions. Knowledge of Comztek’s products and services is advantageous.
Education/Certification
- Matric
Experience required
- Minimum of 1 year in IT distribution Sales.
